You can perform various procedures related to a registration application of an UA (including drones and RC airplanes) based on Civil Aeronautics Act, flight permission, approval application, and notification and confirmation of a flight plan, among others.

Their intended usage includes: notification of information about procedures related to the system you use such as notification of various applications and a report, and notification of renewal time.

Make sure to configure your email settings so you can receive e-mail from “information@dips-reg.mlit.go.jp”, which notifies you of the completion of account setup.

It is not possible to view and use the system in other languages than Japanese and English.

No. you do not need to log in to use the system.

You can use the system 24/7 excluding irregular maintenance time.

No. Anyone who agrees to the terms and created an account can use the system.

Yes. However, approval from your guardian is required to use the system.

The language of this system can be changed to English. Click [English] on the top of homepage to change the language to English.

404 Error (404 Not Found) is displayed if the page does not exist. Access again from the link of Drone/UAS Information Platform System 2.0 on MLIT website.
If 404 page still appears, it may be because of a system failure. Try again later.

If 502 Bad Gateway is displayed, Drone/UAS Information Platform System 2.0 may be temporarily down, or it may be because of a system failure. Try again later.

You may be opening Drone/UAS Information Platform System 2.0 on multiple tabs. Stop opening the system on multiple tabs. Doing so may delete the information you entered or cause an error, which negatively affects your application process.

In the DIPS2.0, if you use browser "Back" button, you cannot continue viewing the screen properly.Please be sure to use the buttons displayed on the screen.("Back" button, "Next" button, etc.)

For OS, Windows and MacOS are supported. For browsers, Edge, Chrome and Safari are supported. See Pages on System Requirements for details.

Android and iOS (iPhone) smartphones are supported. For browsers, Chrome and Safari are supported respectively. See Pages on System Requirements for details.

Prepare a supported smartphone or use a supported PC.

Android and iPadOS (iPad) tablets are supported.
Chromebook and iPad with iPadOS are not guaranteed to operate. Individual Number Card authentication is not supported.
Feature phones (Flip phones) are not supported.

IC card reader/writer is a device necessary to read the information recorded in the Individual Number Card. Connect it to your PC to use it.

No, you can’t. You need an ID issued when you created your account and a password you set.

Yes.
You can use the following functions as a common account.
・Page for operators
・UA registration application
・Acquisition application of UA certification
・Acquisition application of Competence certification (*can be applied only by individual account)
・Flight permission and approval application
・Notification and confirmation of a flight plan
・UA Model authentication application
・Report of an accident, etc.

You can reset your password in Procedure When You Forgot Your Password.

By entering your name and e-mail address, you will be notified of your log in ID. Go to Procedure When You Forgot Your Log In ID to be notified of your log in ID.

If an UA you intend to register is owned by an individual, create an individual account. If it is owned by a corporation, create a corporate account.

Information you are required to enter on creating an account is different.

You can make an application and report related to registered training agency, registered renewal training institution, registered inspection institution and UA Model authentication.
You need an account of gBizID prime to apply.
